Binance Is Shutting Down Its Mining Pool on November 10

Market Intel · Just now · Not financial advice

Binance is killing its mining pool. The exchange will pull the plug on Binance Pool and everything attached to it on November 10 at 07:00 UTC.

What dies with it

The closure covers more than raw hashrate. Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and Transaction Accelerator all stop, along with Telegram hashrate alerts, email notifications and the pool API.

At the cutoff, Binance disconnects miners, disables the Stratum URLs and mining endpoints, and stops accepting or crediting any shares submitted after that moment. Miners are told to reconfigure their rigs to a different pool before the deadline, and Pool Savings users must redeem or unsubscribe first.

The announcement named no replacement provider and did not say how much computing power was pointed at the pool. Binance also gave no specific reason for the decision, framing it only as a routine review of its products and services.

The countdown for your funds

Shares submitted before the cutoff still count toward the final reward calculation. Anything left unsettled gets processed afterward, but eligibility depends on product terms, account status, risk controls and compliance checks — not a guarantee of a fast payout.

Two dates matter. Complete any identity verification by 23:59 UTC on November 10 to avoid delays. Binance then removes pool links from its homepage and keeps the remaining pool pages readable for 14 days, until November 24 at 07:00 UTC, before deleting them for good.

Why this matters

Binance Pool launched in April 2020, starting with Bitcoin before widening out, so this ends a run of over six years. The business had depth too: a $500 million lending push aimed at Bitcoin miners in October 2022, plus Ordinals inscription tools and Fractal Bitcoin merged mining in later years. The closure notice says nothing about what happens to those older loans.

For miners, the practical read is simple — migrate now, and do not leave balances sitting in Pool Savings. For everyone else, it is a reminder that exchange-run mining is a product line that can be switched off while the underlying exchange keeps running as normal.
